Why does my barcode not work at Walmart?

The barcode can only be used at Walmart's Money Center or Customer Service desk, not at a register. When you are at the Money Center or Customer Service desk, tell the Walmart associate you want to deposit cash to your account with a barcode. If the associate is not familiar with this service or doesn't know how to complete a transaction, tell them it's the same as depositing cash to a Green Dot, Walmart MoneyCard or PayPal account.
