How can I add money to my account?
We offer many ways to add money to your account. Choose from the fast and easy deposit options below:
Set up direct deposit for the most perks
- Log in to your account and select "Direct deposit" from the "Move money" menu for options on how to set up direct deposit.
- Choose the direct deposit option that works best for you.
Get your account and routing numbers and give them to your employer or benefits provider.
Download a pre-filled direct deposit form to give to your employer or benefits provider.
Search for your pay provider and automatically select set up direct deposit from your GO2bank account.
- Once setup is complete, direct deposits usually start showing up in your GO2bank account within 1-2 payroll cycles.

Use your phone to cash a check
- Open or download the GO2bank app and log in to your account.
- Tap “Move money” and select “Cash a check.”
- Follow the simple steps to snap a picture of your paper check with your phone, then choose to get your money in minutes for a fee or for free in 10 days.

Transfer money from a linked bank account
- Log in to your account and select "Bank transfer" from the "Move money" menu.
- Link your other bank account by verifying and entering your banking credentials. GO2bank uses Plaid to verify your outside bank account information.
- Once your bank is linked, enter your transfer amount. Your transfer will post to your account in 3 business days.
Tip: You can also transfer money from another bank account by initiating a transfer from that bank’s app or website. You will need your GO2bank account and routing numbers. Others can transfer money from their bank account to your GO2bank account by visiting their bank’s website or app.
Limits apply to bank transfers. Subject to your bank’s restrictions and fees. Bank account verification services provided by Plaid. Activated, personalized debit card required to make a bank transfer. See Deposit Account Agreement (PDF) for details.
Link another debit card to transfer money
- Log in to your account and select "Debit card transfer" from the "Move money" menu.
- Follow the instructions for linking your debit card. The name on your debit card must match the name on your GO2bank account.
- Once linked, enter your transfer amount. Your transfer will post to your account within 30 minutes. You’ll be charged a fee of 3% of your transaction amount.

Deposit cash with your card or the app
- Bring your card (or your phone) and your cash to a participating retailer.
- Swipe your card at the register or create a barcode on the GO2bank app and have the cashier complete your deposit.
- You'll see your money appear in your account within 15 minutes. A retail service fee up to $4.95 and limits may apply.
