How do I activate the card I purchased at a store?

You can activate the GO2bank debit card your purchased at a store at GO2bank.com/start. You'll be asked to provide the info below so we can verify your identity and activate your card:

– 16-digit debit card number

– Expiration date

– 3-digit security code (found on the back of your card)

– Your email, name, address, Social Security number, date of birth and mobile phone number*

You will also need to set an account password and a PIN to use for debit card purchases and ATM withdrawals.

*We’re required to collect this information in accordance with The USA PATRIOT Act — a Federal law that requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies anyone who successfully opens an account with us.

Online access and identity verification (including Social Security number) is required to open an account. Mobile number or email address verification and mobile app are required to access all features. Federal law requires a person to be 18 or older to open an account.
