How can we help?
How do I set up direct deposit?
Choose the direct deposit setup method that works best for you. To get started:
- Log in to your GO2bank account.
- In the app footer, tap “Deposit & pay”. On GO2bank.com, look for the “Move money” menu.
- Select “Direct deposit” to access your direct deposit page and choose the setup method below that’s right for you.
Set up manually
Get your GO2bank account and routing numbers to give to your pay provider to set up direct deposit. If your pay provider requests the account type, enter “Checking.”
Download a direct deposit form
Get a form pre-filled with your direct deposit account info. Choose the amount you want deposited and sign the form before giving to your pay provider.
Set up automatically
Set up direct deposit with your pay provider right from your GO2bank account:
- Search for "Who pays you?" to find your employer or benefits provider.
- Provide your employer or benefits provider login credentials. (GO2bank uses a third-party provider to securely connect to your payor to update your direct deposit information.)
- Confirm how much of your pay you want direct deposited to your GO2bank account and submit. That's it!
If your request is successful, you should start seeing your direct deposit in your GO2bank account in 1-2 pay cycles. If setup was unsuccessful, we recommend using one of the other direct deposit setup methods above.
IMPORTANT: The name and Social Security number on file with your employer or benefits provider must match your GO2bank account to prevent fraud restrictions on the account.
TIP: Ask your payroll department how long it will take them to set up your direct deposit. If it takes longer than expected to receive your first direct deposit, check back with your payroll department. GO2bank does not have any information about your direct deposit enrollment status.
