How do I opt in to overdraft protection?
If you’re eligible for overdraft protection, log in to the GO2bank app or GO2bank.com and navigate to “Overdraft protection” to opt in.
In the GO2bank app:
- Tap “Menu”, then “Account”, then “Overdraft protection”.
- If you’re eligible, the “Opt in to overdraft protection” button will be visible. Tap the button to see the “Overdraft protection agreement”.
- After reviewing the agreement, tap “Agree and opt in” to complete the opt-in process.
On GO2bank.com:
- Log in to your account.
- Go to “Settings” in the menu, then “Overdraft protection”.
- If you’re eligible, the “Opt in to overdraft protection” button will be visible. Tap the button to see the “Overdraft protection agreement”.
- After reviewing the agreement, select “Agree and opt in” to complete the opt-in process.
IMPORTANT: You must meet the direct deposit eligibility requirements before you can opt in to overdraft protection. Coverage is based on your direct deposits, overdraft activity, and account status.
